Differences in Terrain Materials
Within our terrain we have two sets of textures that define the way the terrain is painted up close and then one that defines how it looks like when painted from far away to optimise performance. These two textures are defined as both the Layer Texture and the Detail texture and both work together to provide a seamless high resolution terrain, no matter the distance.
How to Paint Our Terrain
Follow the steps below to import a project:
- Create Object -> Brush
- Browse to Objects -> Natural -> Rocks -> forest-monoliths folder
- Double click the forest_monolith_c.cgf and drag the objects into your Perspective Viewport.
